Privacy
- Account participation: You create a HoopsRef account before beginning an assessment. Your account keeps your assessment history available when you return on another browser or device.
- Camera access: HoopsRef uses your camera only when you take an optional profile photo and during the HoopsRef Assessment integrity check.
- Microphone access: HoopsRef uses your microphone only during the HoopsRef Assessment to detect sustained excessive room noise. Audio and continuous video are not recorded or uploaded. HoopsRef does not use facial recognition or automatically verify your identity.
- Optional headshot: A profile photo is saved with your account and may be used on your certificate.
- Assessment snapshots: When Virtual Monitoring is on, five still images are captured and saved for use on that assessment's certificate. These images are separate from your optional profile photo.
- Earlier guest records: Results and certificates created before accounts were required remain available to their original browser and may still be attached to an account.
- Profile and assessment history: Your HoopsRef profile and assessment history are saved so you can access them after signing in on another browser or device.
- Account security: HoopsRef uses secure email-and-password authentication through Supabase. HoopsRef does not store or receive your password in readable form.
